Fenerbahçe Tarfin vs Baskonia Tickets: A EuroLeague Night at Ülker

November 4, 2026, Wednesday 20:45 Ülker Sports and Event Hall Turkish Airlines EuroLeague

In the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague 2026-27 season, Fenerbahçe Tarfin host Spanish side Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz at Ülker Sports and Event Hall on Wednesday evening, November 4, 2026 at 20:45. The Yellow-Navy Blues aim to continue their momentum in front of their home crowd on Europe's biggest basketball stage.

A 21st-Century Rivalry: Fenerbahçe's Slight Edge

Fenerbahçe and Baskonia have met 37 times in the EuroLeague this century. The Yellow-Navy Blues have won 19 of those matches, while the Spanish side have claimed 18 victories. The point differential between the two sides is remarkably balanced: Fenerbahçe have scored 2,973 points in total, while Baskonia have scored 2,995.

However, recent years have tilted in Fenerbahçe's favour. The Yellow-Navy Blues have won 11 of the last 13 meetings. This run underlines Fenerbahçe's psychological edge over their opponents.

Nando De Colo's Record Night

One of the most unforgettable moments in this rivalry came in October 2019 in Istanbul. Fenerbahçe guard Nando De Colo scored 39 points against Baskonia, setting a career high and a club record for most points in a single game for the Yellow-Navy Blues. His performance efficiency rating (PIR) of 44, another club record, earned him MVP of the Round honours.

Fenerbahçe won that match 87-80. De Colo's historic performance remains one of the most special moments ever witnessed at Ülker Sports and Event Hall.

Playoff and Final Four Encounters

The two sides met in the EuroLeague Playoffs in the 2017-18 season. After sweeping Baskonia in the regular season, Fenerbahçe won the playoff series 3-1 to advance to the Final Four.

More significantly, the two teams faced each other in the 2016 EuroLeague semifinals. Fenerbahçe defeated Baskonia 88-77 in overtime, led by 18 points from Bogdan Bogdanovic, to reach the final. That match remains one of Fenerbahçe's most critical victories in EuroLeague history.

Baskonia's History and Identity

Founded in 1959, Baskonia are one of the most established basketball clubs in Spain's Basque region. After winning their first Spanish Cup in 1995, the club reached the EuroLeague final in 2001. Baskonia made four consecutive Final Four appearances from 2005 to 2008, developing stars like Luis Scola, Arvydas Macijauskas, and Pablo Prigioni.

After an inconsistent recent period, the Spanish side finished 18th in the EuroLeague last season but won the Spanish Cup for the first time in 17 years. Under head coach Paolo Galbiati, now in his second season, Baskonia aim to build on that success in 2026-27.

Matchday at Ülker Sports and Event Hall

Ülker Sports and Event Hall is located in Istanbul's Ataşehir district and is Turkey's most modern basketball arena, with a capacity of approximately 13,000.
